Are you a Christian school?

Yes. We are a Christian preschool. We incorporate lessons from the Bible into our curriculum. Prayers are said before each meal and at devotional time.

what ages do you enroll at your school?

Your child must be a minimum of 18 months before starting at LPG Preschool. Your child can attend our school up through their 6th birthday (just before Kindergarten).

What is your child to teacher ratio?

Toddlers classroom: 6 students to 1 teacher (maximum 12 students).

Room 1: 8 students to 1 teacher (maximum 8 students).

Room 2: 8 students to 1 teacher (maximum 8 students).

Room 3: 12 students to 1 teacher (maximum 16 students)

How can I see the school?

Please call 626-610-2626 to schedule a tour. Tours are conducted on Mondays and Wednesdays at 6:00pm after hours to avoid COVID-19 contact spreading.

What are drop-off/pick-up procedures?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the rules around drop-off/pick-up have been modified. For the time being, drop-off/pick-up is done at the front door.

 

What steps are necessary to enroll?

  1. Schedule a tour of our school. We do not enroll children without having conducted a tour of the school. The tour serves as a time for parents/families to bring any questions and concerns to our director prior to enrollment.

  2. Download and fill out our application. Please do not fill out an application until after you have toured the school. Upon completion, you may either drop off the application to our school or email it to us at lpgroute66@gmail.com.

  3. Have your child’s doctor fill out the Physician’s Report found in our application. Your child cannot attend LPG Preschool without a completed Physician’s Report.

  4. Pay the non-refundable registration fee. Payments can be made via Brightwheel, cash, or check. The $250 registration fee is charged annually.

  5. Confirm with the office your child’s first day of attendance.

How often is tuition charged?

Tuition is charged on a monthly basis, not on a daily or weekly basis. We do not enroll students for short term care, nor do we prorate tuition for any absences.

I think my income might qualify for Government aid/subsidized Child Care. What should I do?

If you think your income may qualify you for subsidized Child Care, please call Pomona Unified School District’s Resource and Referral Provider Services, 909.397.4740, extension 25030.

Your family does not have to live in Pomona to qualify. She/he will be able to attend LPG Preschool if approved.
